In 1994 he set up a research and production company MedEng. He headed the development and production of a unique valve with swirling flows in the heart chambers. He obtained over 60 invertor's certificates and patents, including two US patents, two European patents, one Japanese patent and one Chinese patent. Of these, 30 inventions were put into production. The testing equipment for prosthetic heart valve that he developed is used by all Russian manufacturers of prosthetic heart valves and by the certified Cardiovascular Center named after A.N. Bakulev. Besides this equipment is recommended by the national standard GOST 26997. In 1988, a team of developers, including Sergey Evdokimov, was awarded the USSR Council of Ministers Prize for the development and implementation of a heart valve prosthesis. In 2005, he was awarded the medal of the Order of Merit to the Fatherland, II degree. In 2000, 2002, 2007, the prosthetic heart valve “MedEng-2" was awarded the title of laureate of the “100 Best Goods of Russia" program. MedEng company has repeatedly become the winner of local, city and regional competitions among production companies. In 2008, Sergey Evdokimov was awarded the honorary badge of the governor “To the glory of the land of Penza". In 2010 MedEng was awarded the prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for high quality standard. Sergey Evdokimov was awarded the title Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation (2010). The company Cardioplant was founded by Sergey Evdokimov as a laboratory for harvesting and processing of raw materials for the Department of Biological Prosthetics at Bakulev Cardiovascular Centre. Later, he invited several specialists to the team to develop and organize an independent platform for the production and development of implants based on biological tissues.


The area of scientific interests includes the development of implantable medical devices, the development and study of the characteristics of prosthetic heart valves.

In 2008 he graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in Biochemistry. During his studies, he did an internship at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Pushchino). During the internship, he worked in a research group for the development of biological DNA chips. He has been working at Cardioplant since 2008. During his postgraduate studies (2011-2014) and work in the company, he focused on research in tissue engineering and biological prosthetics. In 2014, on the basis of the Research Institute of Traumatology and Artificial Organs named after V.I. Shumakov FNTSTIO of the Ministry of Health of Russia (Moscow), he defended his Ph.D. based on xenopericardial tissue in Transplantology and Artificial Organs with the subject “Development of biological materials for reconstructive surgery based on xenopericardiac tissue" under the guidance of Professor V.I. Sevastyanov and Professor M.T. Gengin. He is a co-author of more than 30 scientific papers and 8 patents.


Scientific interests include biological materials, tissue engineering, bioprosthetics, technologies for processing of xenogenic tissues.

In 2011 she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in biochemistry. During the training, she underwent an internship in the laboratory department of the sport center “Olympic" in Penza, with the subject “Biochemistry of sports"; GBUZ “Penza Maternity Hospital", Penza; GBUZ “Centre on Substance Use and Addiction", Penza. From 2011 to 2013, she worked as a leading microbiologist at the pharmaceutical company JSC “Biosintez". While working there, as part of postgraduate studies at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “GosNIIgenetika", Moscow, at the Department of Genetics, she conducted research on the subject “Obtaining a highly productive strain of Fusidic acid producer Fusidium coccineum 108 pcs.". They have published several scientific articles on the subject. Since 2013, he has been working at Cardioplant. She is a co-author of more than 10 scientific papers.


Scientific interests - tissue engineering, technologies for processing of xenogenic tissues, genetic mutations, bioprosthetics.

In 2011, he graduated from Penza State Technological Academy with a degree in Biotechnical and medical devices and systems. During the training, he did an internship at MedEng company, defended his thesis on the subject: “Technological peculiarities for manufacturing of a biological heart valve prosthesis." He has been working at Cardioplant since 2012. In 2015, he graduated from Penza State University with a degree in Legal Studies.

Professional interests include biological materials and their delivery, the search for new suppliers, logistics in the production of implantable medical products based on animal tissues.

In 1997 she graduated from Penza State University with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She has been working at Cardioplant since the day the company was founded. She began as an assistant in the laboratory for harvesting and processing of raw materials for the Prosthetics Department of the A.N. Bakulev Cardiovascular Centre. In 2008, as a Process Engineer, she began to work on the project “Organization of serial production of xenopericardiac patches." Since 2012 she's been a Production Supervisor of the bioprosthetics production site.

In 2008 he graduated from Penza State University with a degree in Biology, and an additional specialty in Chemistry. In 2012, on the basis of Penza State Technological Academy, he defended his PhD thesis on the subject “Ecomorphological characteristics of populations and species' structure of communities of testate amoebas and heterotrophic flagellates in some reservoirs of the Volga region".
He's been working for the company since 2021.
At Cardioplant, he's in charge of serial production of materials and implantable products for guided tissue regeneration.

In 1993 she graduated from the Faculty of Biology of Tashkent State University named after V.I. Lenin (TashGU) with a degree in Genetics. After graduating from the university, she completed an internship on the specialty “Microbiology" at the department of Tashkent State University and defended PhD on the subject: “Obtaining a complex of soluble antigens of Corynebacterium diphtheria when cultivating on a new nutrient medium." At the same time, she worked as a bacteriologist in the department of microbiology at the research and production company “Nihol" of the Tashkent Cancer Center and carried out experimental work on a studied subject. In 2005-2008 she continued her scientific work at the Research Institute of Vaccines and Serums named after I.I. Mechnikov (Moscow) under the guidance of Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences L.P. Blinkova. In 2008, after revising and approving a new subject for her thesis, she defended her PhD thesis in Microbiology on the subject “Development of a microbiological nutrient medium from scrap meat raw materials." She's a co-author of 15 scientific papers and has been working at Cardioplant since 2009.



Her professional and scientific interests include microbiology, validation of sterilization of medical devices from biomaterials, development and maintenance of technological processes for manufacturing of medical devices from xenogenic biomaterials.

In 2014 she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in Biology. In 2016, she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a Master's degree in Biology. She has been working at Cardioplant since 2014 as a tissue engineering specialist. She is engaged in the selection of processing methods for xenogenic biomaterials and the study of their influence on the biological characteristics of a medical device. Since 2016, she's been working on her thesis on the subject “Development and evaluation of the functional properties of a bioresorbable collagen membrane with determined properties based on xenogenic raw materials." She is a co-author of over 10 scientific papers.

Professional and scientific interests include research and development of implantable medical devices for surgical dentistry and periodontics, biomaterials for guided tissue regeneration, tissue engineering, selection of processing methods for xenogenic biomaterials and studying their influence on the biological characteristics of medical devices.

In 2012, she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in Biochemistry. During the training, she underwent an internship at Cardioplant and was subsequently employed. She worked in a research group to develop a technology for modifying biological tissues of xenogenic origin. She had her postgraduate studies from 2012 to 2015 on the specialty 03.01.04 – Biochemistry. In 2016, on the basis of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Education “Peoples' Friendship University of Russia" (Moscow), she defended her Ph.D. thesis on the suibject “The effect of selective monoamine reuptake inhibitors on the activity of regulatory peptide metabolism enzymes in the brain, adrenal glands and blood serum of rats" on the specialty 03.01 .04 - Biochemistry. She is an author of more than 20 scientific papers.

Scientific interests include - chromatographic methods in the study of the properties of medical devices, brain biochemistry, clinical biochemistry, drug delivery technologies, bioprosthetics, tissue engineering.

In 2018, she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in biology, biochemistry. In 2020, she obtained Master's degree in Biology at the same university, specializing in “Molecular biology and genetics" with honors. She has been working at Cardioplant since 2020.

Scientific interests include histological studies of soft connective tissues, research and development of implantable medical products from biomaterials, tissue engineering.

In 2018, she graduated with honors from Penza State University with a degree in Biology, specializing in Biochemistry. In 2020, she obtained her Master's degree in Biology at the same university, specializing in Molecular Biology and Genetics, with honors. In 2020, she graduated from Penza State Agrarian University with a degree in Technology of Production and Processing of Agricultural Products.

She has been working at Cardioplant since 2020. Scientific interests include research and development of implantable medical products from biomaterials, tissue engineering.

In 2004, he graduated from the Penza State Agrarian University with a degree in “Technology for processing livestock products". During the training, he worked on the subject “Morphological and chemical analysis of the quality of meat from farm animals". Since 2004, he worked at the Federal State Institution GCAS "Penzensky" as a leading specialist in an agrochemical laboratory, since 2006 he worked at the Federal State Institution "TsLATI" in the Volga Federal District as a leading specialist in environmental monitoring of industrial enterprises. He was engaged in laboratory studies of the environment and the impact exerted on it by economic activity. He has been working at Cardioplant since 2014 as a leading specialist in processing of raw materials by physical methods. He is a co-author of several patents and scientific papers.

Scientific interests include development of prospective methods for the physicochemical processing of biomaterials and tissues of xenogenic origin, in particular for the production of medical devices.

In 2006 she graduated from Penza State Pedagogical University with a degree in pedagogy-psychology. In 2016, she underwent professional retraining at “Penza Accounting School" under the additional professional program “Economics and Accounting". She has been working at Cardioplant since 2021 as a storekeeper in a warehouse for finished products.

Her professional interests include fulfilling the orders from distributors and shipping the finished products.

In 2009 he graduated from the Institute of Economics and Management PGUAS with a degree in Marketing.
He's obtained project management experience in various projects (advertising campaigns, web projects, application development): including
preparation of technical and project documentation. Worked as a project manager and account manager. Coordinated project teams to evaluate, deliver and meet deadlines. Coordinated the budget and implementation schedule.
Worked in IT outsourcing: organized the work of regional offices, prepared training courses in the IT companies of Penza.
Conducted business planning and developed marketing plans for companies.
Professional interests include project management, advertising communications.

In 1999 he graduated from Samara State Medical University with a degree in General Medicine. In 1999-2002 he accomplished internship and residency in general surgery. From 2002 to 2004 he worked as a surgeon, Head of the Surgical Department of the Belinsky Central District Hospital of Penza Region. Since 2004, he has been an Assistant, and since 2009, an Associate Professor at Penza State University. In 2009 he defended his M.D. thesis on the subject “Comparative evaluation of hernioplasty methods in patients with inguinal hernias". Since 2015, Deputy Manager of LLC “Center for Preclinical Research" for scientific and medical work. He has cooperated with Cardioplant since 2012. He is in charge of the scientific and organizational part of preparing and conducting experimental “in vivo" studies for biomaterials. He is an author and co-author of 8 patents and over 100 scientific publications.
Scientific interests include hetero-orthotopic evaluation of the effectiveness of medical devices, experimental surgery, surgical gastroenterology, herniology.

In 2007 he graduated from Saratov State University named after. N.G. Chernyshevsky with a degree in Biology and an additional specialty in Chemistry. In 2007-2009 he obtained Master's degree at Pushchino State University in Medical and Biological Sciences. From 2009 to 2012 he took a postgraduate course at the Institute of Theoretical and Experimental Biophysics. In 2012 he defended his PhD thesis in biological sciences on the subject “Resistance of tumor cells to TRAIL-induced apoptosis in confluent cultures", specialty “Biophysics". Since 2016 he's headed the Laboratory of Pharmacological Regulation of Cellular Resistance of ITEB RAS. He's cooperated with Cardioplant since 2015. Roman is heading the scientific and organizational part of preparing and conducting “in vitro" experimental studies of biomaterials. He's an author and co-author of 4 patents and over 40 scientific articles.

Scientific interests include in vitro and ex vivo evaluation of the effectiveness of medical devices, cell biology, histology, molecular and cellular immunology.

In 2008 she graduated from Saratov State University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky with a degree in Biology and an additional specialty “Chemistry". In 2008-2010 she obtained Master's degree at Pushchino State University in “Medical and Biological Sciences". In 2010-2013 she took a postgraduate course at the ITEB RAS. In 2013 she defended her PhD thesis on the subject “The role of recipient cells and violations of the structure of the tissue matrix in the mechanism of calcification of grafts of blood vessels and heart valves" in the specialty “Physiology".
She has cooperated with Cardioplant since 2019. In that role Irina performs advisory and coordinating functions in joint research projects, provides analytical “in vitro" and “in vivo" tests according to ISO 10993 standards. She's an author and co-author of 14 patents and over 30 scientific articles.
Scientific interests include hetero- and orthotopic evaluation of the effectiveness of biomaterials, differential histochemical and immunohistochemical

analysis, image bioimaging, development of bioactive biological materials for reconstructive surgery.
